Terms of service
Last updated: 7 July 2026
These terms are a contract between you and LMC Tech for the use of PackPilot. By creating an account you agree to them. We've kept them as plain as we can.
1. The service
PackPilot generates draft training pack documents from information you provide, lets you edit them, and exports them as DOCX and PDF files. Generated packs are stored in your dashboard for re-download.
2. Drafts, review and responsibility
Everything PackPilot generates is a draft. You and your organisation are responsible for reviewing all generated content, checking its accuracy and suitability, and adapting it to your local procedures, policies and legal obligations before any use. Before each pack is generated you must confirm you will do this.
PackPilot does not provide legal, clinical, medical, safeguarding, regulatory or accredited-assessment advice. Certificates produced by PackPilot record attendance only and are not qualifications. If your training touches regulated activity (for example safeguarding, first aid, medication handling or clinical practice), you must ensure content is verified by an appropriately qualified person before use.
3. Accounts
Keep your password confidential and your account details accurate. You must be at least 18 and using PackPilot on behalf of an organisation or as a professional trainer. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
4. Payments
- Single packs (£29) and five-pack bundles (£99) are one-off payments granting pack credits. Credits do not expire.
- The subscription (£39/month) allows up to 10 packs per billing month. Unused allowance does not roll over.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices include VAT where applicable.
- You can cancel a subscription at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period. See our refund policy.
5. Your content
You keep all rights in what you provide (logos, policies, text) and in your finished packs. You grant us the limited licence needed to store and process that content in order to run the service. You are responsible for having the rights to anything you upload, and for ensuring uploads contain no unlawful material or third-party personal data you are not permitted to share.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use PackPilot to create unlawful, discriminatory or harmful material, attempt to breach the security of the service, or resell generated packs as a competing template library.
7. Availability and liability
We work to keep PackPilot available and your data safe, but the service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited (such as for fraud, or death or personal injury caused by negligence).
8. Ending the agreement
You can close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or close accounts that materially breach these terms, refunding any unused credits at our reasonable discretion.
9. General
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes belong to the courts of England and Wales. If we change these terms materially, we'll email account holders before the change takes effect.
